Candias (Candi) C. Jones began her tenure as Executive Director of Girls Incorporated of Omaha on Aug. 21, 2023. Jones comes to Girls Inc. with previous experience providing strategic leadership and oversight for HR departments at Mutual of Omaha and Community Health Development Partners. She is also a certified trauma informed specialist and certified executive coach.
“I am truly humbled and honored to lead this impactful journey of empowerment and positive change for our girls and our community,” stated Jones. “This is transformational work, and with the support of everyone who believes in our mission, Girls Inc. will break barriers and shatter stereotypes.”
Jones attended the University of Maryland, focusing on communication studies/HR management. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Changemaker Award (2020) and National Sexual Violence Resource Center’s Visionary Voice Award (2023).
