Dave Anderson has been named office managing partner of KPMG LLP’s Omaha and Lincoln offices, effective October 1. Anderson succeeds Drew Blossom, who transitioned to a senior Audit leadership role.
Anderson will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of KPMG’s Nebraska practice and the career development for nearly 150 partners and professionals. “Dave brings more than 17 years of strong leadership and experience providing audit services for public and private clients in the consumer goods, energy, transportation and business services industries,” said KPMG Vice Chair, Growth and Strategy, Lisa Daniels. “With his deep commitment to serving our clients and developing our people, I am confident he will be highly successful in his new role.”
“I am grateful that the passionate leadership of Drew Blossom has built a market-leading practice at KPMG Nebraska, and I’m honored by the opportunity to expand upon this work. I look forward to working with our tremendous team of partners and professionals to help our clients adapt and thrive in today’s ever-changing environment, whether driven by economic forces, changing customer patterns, disruptive technologies or the rapidly evolving regulatory environment,” Anderson said. “I am equally excited to have this expanded opportunity to deepen our relationships in the market and in our communities, to mentor our professionals and help shape their careers, and to grow our strong culture based on a set of values we all share.”
Dave joined the firm in 2005 and was admitted to the partnership in 2018. He also completed a three-year rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice in New York City. Dave will continue to grow our presence in the market and advocate for a collaborative culture.
Dave is actively involved in the local community and currently serves as chairman of the board for Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska.
