Eight Counties, All In Together: Greater Omaha Chamber Economic Development Partnership

The Greater Omaha Chamber Economic Development Partnership represents eight counties from two states that includes Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Otoe, Sarpy, Washington, Mills (Iowa.) and Pottawattamie (Iowa.) Counties. The regionalized partnership operates as a comprehensive resource, driving growth and championing collaboration. This partnership provides our region a distinct advantage in economic development over our peers. 

The ability to work collaboratively with partner counties to gather data, purchase and prep properties, provide project oversight and distribute funds creates opportunities the cities we compete with cannot match. When it comes to finding that perfect fit for new business attraction or expansion, we can cross county and state lines, broadening our options and expanding our scope. 

We are an eight-county economic development partnership, one of the few who truly work collaboratively across boundary lines. We work to create jobs and encourage capital investment in the metropolitan region for the benefit of all. Along with our president and CEO, Veta Jeffery, the executive directors and boards of our partner counties are developing strategies to leverage our partnership even more extensively.

The Leadership Lab is a two-day, intensive workshop for emerging leaders and young professionals in early to mid-career positions in all organizations. The workshop will inspire and equip you to self-reflect and collaborate, so you can build relationships, cultivate strengths and lead others. Space is limited, so don’t delay.
