with its fourth and final STEM Speaker Connect Event of 2023, “Hope and Innovation.” Research
indicates that a spark of innovation is the primary factor that ignites students’ interest in pursuing STEM
careers. This event, sponsored by Omaha Public Power District, will empower businesses and
community leaders to embrace technology and innovation in building a stronger STEM community that
helps students realize their full potential and forge a successful future in STEM.
Former Google Chief Educational Evangelist Jaime Casap, who launched essential K-12 tool
Chromebooks, will lead a riveting conversation on education, technology, innovation and Generation Z.
Ahead of National STEM Day, the Omaha STEM Ecosystem would also like individuals and organizations
to share their STEM success and innovation stories. Join the National STEM Day challenge by uploading
your photos and STEM success stories to social media using the hashtag #OmahaSTEM2023.
