| Lamp Rynearson steps into 2024 with key leadership in place to provide support and expansion for the firm’s Landscape Architecture and Planning Group! To expand upon Lamp Rynearson’s culture of leadership transition, Regan Pence, PLA will assume new leadership responsibilities in its Kansas City office. This move sets the stage for the appointment of Joe Zadina, PE, as the Landscape Architecture and Planning Group Leader, along with Zack Fergus, PLA, ASLA, as the Landscape Architecture Practice Lead.
After nurturing the growth of projects and people for the past 12 years, Regan Pence, PLA, welcomes the opportunity to bring his regional expertise in the planning and designing of municipal and private development projects to the Kansas City Metro Area. Fueled by a passion to deliver lasting improvements for our communities and neighborhoods, Joe Zadina, PE, has been promoted to lead Lamp Rynearson’s Landscape Architecture and Planning Group. Known for his visionary work on community-changing projects, Joe has over 20 years of experience and nine years of project managing outdoor recreation and education facilities. Leading the Landscape Architecture team is Zack Fergus, PLA, ASLA; his new role as Landscape Architecture Practice Lead exemplifies his passion for landscape architecture rooted in creating people-oriented places. He brings leadership and collaboration to the position with over a decade of expertise. In tandem with leadership growth, our planning team, including Jeff Spiehs, Senior Planner, grew with the addition of Senior Planner Manuel Cook, Senior Planner, and Planner Alexander Johnson, AICP. The dynamic Landscape Architecture and Planning group look forward to continuing to help clients create beautiful outdoor spaces, plan for uncertain futures with confidence, find shared purpose across community groups, and determine the best actions toward desired outcomes.
