Omaha Community Foundation Omaha Venture Group

The Omaha Venture Group (OVG) is a giving circle facilitated by the Omaha Community Foundation whose members pool their charitable resources and learn about venture philanthropy. Since 2002, more than 100 local nonprofits have received funds through OVG. The Omaha Jaycees is the oldest young professional organization in the Omaha metro, building strong community leaders since 1921. For more than 90 years, the Urban League has been a staple in the Omaha community reaching thousands of students through education and other programming. This mission is carried through the Urban League of Nebraska Young Professionals, a group open to 21- to 39-year-olds dedicated to development through networking for young professionals of color, leading development training and mentoring young people through their professional careers.

Young Jewish Omaha 

Young Jewish Omaha (YJO) is an initiative of the Jewish Federation of Omaha. YJO provides the support and “behind-the-scenes” logistics for a variety of social activities planned by YJO’s committee.
The Federation offers a forum for these young adults to pursue their Jewish identities comfortably and collectively.
