Returning for its second year, Omaha by Design is hoping its Open Omaha event will encourage individuals to get out and explore the city.
From August 5, 2023, through August 6, 2023, over 60 vendors, ending from historic landmarks to creative spaces, will open their doors in a city-wide showcase.
“Based upon the principle of you can’t be what you can’t see, Open Omaha showcases diverse opportunities that exist in the metro, providing behind-the-scenes access that is not often available,” said Maria Brady, director of strategic partnerships at Omaha by Design. “Whether that is taking a print-making class at the Union for Contemporary Arts or volunteering at Kids Can Community Center, Open Omaha opens the doors to incredible ways to deepen connectivity locally.”
The all-ages event is free for all and most venues will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
