Organizations Award Grants to Nonprofits

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center has named 10 nonprofit organizations as recipients of its 2023-2024 Community Impact Grant. The $25,000 grants will be used toward a partnership with Children’s to address financial stability, food security, healthy housing and pediatric mental wellness concerns. 

These organizations will participate in a learning collaborative designed and hosted by Children’s Community Health & Advocacy team and Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition.

-CEDARS Youth Services, Lincoln, NE
-Completely KIDS, Omaha, NE (South Omaha primarily)
-Legal Aid of Nebraska, NE (Statewide)
-Lending Link, Omaha, NE & Pottawattamie County, IA
-Lincoln Public Schools, Lincoln, NE
-Nebraska Diaper Bank (NDB), Northeast NE
-Nelson Mandela Elementary, Omaha, NE
-Restoring Dignity, Omaha, NE
-The Valley Child Development Center (TVCDC), Red Cloud, NE

Sarpy Chamber Foundation 

The Sarpy Chamber Foundation has awarded $30,000 in grants to three nonprofit Chamber members.

The three $5,000 grants were given to Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation, NeighborGood and Sarpy County Museum. In addition, Sarpy Chamber Foundation gave $1,000 grants to 15 additional nonprofits.
